Animal: Okapi
The Okapi, scientifically known as Okapia johnstoni, is a rare and elusive forest-dwelling mammal native to the dense rainforests of central and northern Democratic Republic of the Congo in Africa. Known for its unique appearance, the Okapi has a brown coat with striking white stripes on its hindquarters, resembling a zebra, and a long, prehensile tongue used for grasping leaves. Despite its resemblance to other species, the Okapi is more closely related to the giraffe.
