Animal: Possums
Possums, marsupials belonging to various families, are characterized by their nocturnal habits and prehensile tails. Found in diverse habitats across Australia, New Zealand, and the Americas, possums are adaptable creatures known for their arboreal lifestyles. Some species, like the Virginia opossum, are renowned for their ability to play dead when threatened. While they share a name with opossums, the two are distinct groups with different geographic distributions.
