The Taipan, specifically the Inland Taipan (Oxyuranus microlepidotus), is one of the world’s most venomous snakes. Native to the arid regions of central Australia, the Inland Taipan is also known as the “fierce snake.” Despite its potent venom, it is generally elusive and rarely poses a threat to humans due to its remote habitat.
