Animal: Bengal Tiger
The Bengal tiger, a radiant subspecies of tiger, is predominantly found in the Indian subcontinent. Recognized by its vibrant orange coat adorned with dark stripes, it’s one of the largest tiger subspecies. These majestic cats roam a variety of habitats, from the lush Sundarbans mangroves to the dry forests of Ranthambore. As apex predators, they play a pivotal role in maintaining ecological balance. However, the Bengal tiger faces threats from habitat loss, human-wildlife conflict, and poaching. Conservation initiatives are in place to protect this iconic symbol of the wild.
